Online Overview Courses Start Learning for Free Skillshare.

I signed up to Skillshare Because of free trial.

The afternoon BEFORE my trial was supposed to finish I received the email from them thanking me for subscribing to Premium.

Obviously, I was confused. It's normal for businesses to offer free trials in hopes you enjoy the product enough to actually pay for it. What isn't normal is for your enterprise to LIE for you and bill you daily before the free trial is supposed to even end, in effect tricking you and stealing your cash. I was mad.

I looked online and following 30 minutes of digging I found a telephone number for your firm (Red flag, what legitimate company doesn't have an easily accessible customer service number?) . I called that number and it went directly to voicemail. The voice on the voicemail appeared like some stoned college kid, finish with "ums" and "likes" (Red flag number two). At this point I was freaking out cause all these experiences were causing me to believe this actually was a scam. The only real option left to me is to write them an email through their site. This was 3 months past, and I have yet to get a response.

I am appalled at how that they handle business (by first tricking their customers, then ignoring their concerns). They stole my money without any warning and are now unreachable.

I moved back to their site as well as their advertisement for Premium is a lie. It clearly says that your Premium account is cancelable at anytime. What they really mean is you can cancel it so it won't revive at the next billing cycle (that is an entire year!!) . They're Skillshare - Make Money Teaching What You Know crooks. If their articles were really good, I'd have happily continued using their services, but each of their movies are things I can locate on YouTube or alternative places for free. The one thing that I an do now is save other people the hassle.

DO NOT sign up for your free trial. If you do a little more research you will discover a plethora of different reviews like mine.

Proceed to Lynda.com or YouTube. Please, do not make the identical mistake I did, and stay away!!

I wrote to Skillshare one last time, and it feels like from the previous 4 weeks they have upped their customer support game. I received a same-day response apologizing for my previous experience and having an offer to refund me all of my cash. This gesture has been more than I expected, and I am thankful to know that people do actually work at this business, and it seems they are listening to the negative reviews and trying to create a much better company.
